De Starboard SUP Peddel Foil Blade Carbon 2-Delig is ontworpen voor foilsurfers die directe kracht en snelle acceleratie nodig hebben bij lage snelheden. De low-aspect bladverhouding geeft je instant power bij elke haalslag, terwijl de kortere bladvorm maximale ruimte biedt tussen blad en foil voor een veilige en vlotte foilsessie. De schacht is opgebouwd uit meerdere lagen premium carbon en weegt daarmee nauwelijks op je armen, maar biedt tegelijkertijd de stijfheid en terugveerkracht die je nodig hebt. Het 2-delige verstelbare systeem maakt de peddel compact voor transport en ideaal voor meerdere rijders met verschillende lengtes. De spiraalgetextureerde buitenlaag op het middelste schachtgedeelte zorgt voor een veilige grip ook als je handen nat zijn. De F35 flexoptie biedt een medium-hoge flex die populair is bij grotere rijders met een langere schacht.

Het blad is opgebouwd met een volledige 3K carbon laminering en een carbon filament railinfusie, wat zorgt voor indrukwekkende slagvastheid met een laag gewicht. De PVC-kern in het blad dempt trillingen en geeft het blad veerkracht bij elke haalslag. De winglet-design, gebaseerd op foiltechnologie, reduceert turbulentie aan de zijkanten van het blad voor een vloeiendere pull-through en minder peddelfluiter. De dubbele concave in het centrum van het blad stuurt het water efficient naar de randen, wat resulteert in betere tractie en een krachtigere voortbeweging. De ergonomische greep is geblazen van kunststof met koolstofversterking en weegt slechts 45 gram. Because of that I’d be conservative with sizing because they do stretch significantly when you wear them. I got these in the lighter blue, too. The darker wash is slightly smaller and I wound up liking the color better, too. But the light wash is nice.

Purchased the “cropped” length. I am 5ft 3.5 inch. Weight 170lbs (42 inch hip/38 inch waist) normally wear a size 10/12 or 31 in jeans, depending on the brand. I ordered up at 14 for these based on other reviewers. (When held up to other jeans they were the same as a Talbots 10 at the waist) Prewash they felt good, a little big& length hit at the top of my foot. After wash and dry, the fit was almost perfect and the length was at lower ankle. Ordering up is probably the right choice, although I think I could have been comfortable in a 12 (with no drying). They are a tad bit too long for a “cropped” look IMO. The wide leg is a true wide leg and falls straight from the waist. The material is heavy and there is almost no give/stretch - so a traditional denim. This is the dark blue and it is a true dark blue. You can’t beat the price, excellent value.
