Het recept voor onze tweede Compass Box-eerbetoon aan Delilah's is gebouwd rond een klein pakket van de originele Compass Box Delilah's blend die in 2013 werd uitgebracht - een weelderige, op Amerikaanse eiken gerijpte whisky die we nog eens vijf jaar op vat hebben gerijpt. Met dit als basis stelde Mike voor om moutwhisky toe te voegen, gerijpt in Spaanse sherryvaten, ook gemaakt van Amerikaans eiken.

Het resultaat is een heerlijke Schotse whisky met tonen van vanille en kruiden, en een rijk Sherry-karakter. Het is weer een incarnatie van de gedeelde visie die Mike en ik hebben voor whisky's die iedereen kan waarderen en waarvan iedereen kan genieten!
