Het is puur haagbeuk: de zwaarste en hardste houtsoort die we hebben. Dat betekent minder vaak lopen naar de houtmand en meer uren warmte van elk blok.

De belangrijkste kenmerken:

  • Keihard loofhout: Haagbeuk (steenbeuk) brandt extreem traag en langdurig.
  • Direct stoken: Ovengedroogd tot onder de 20% vocht. Geen gesis, geen zwarte ruitjes.
  • Hoog rendement: Met 4,4 kWh/kg haal je de maximale energie uit je hout.

  • Schoon vuur: Brandt rustig op zonder te spatten of te vonken.

Waarom kiezen voor 45 cm Haagbeuk?

Haagbeuk is een zware jongen. Het heeft een zeer hoge dichtheid, waardoor het langer blijft gloeien dan eiken of essen. De blokken van 45 cm zorgen voor een rustig en stabiel vuur in grote haarden. Omdat het hout zo hard is, spat het niet; ideaal als je graag met de deurtjes open stookt of een open haard hebt.

Stookadvies voor grote blokken

Omdat deze blokken groot en massief zijn, hebben ze hitte nodig om goed op gang te komen. Begin je vuur met voldoende aanmaakhout en eventueel wat zachter hout (zoals berk) om de kachel op temperatuur te krijgen. Zodra er een goed bed van gloeiende kolen ligt, doen de 45 cm blokken de rest van het werk voor urenlang stookplezier.

Wij leveren deze pallet standaard met een elektrische pompwagen. Hiermee kan de chauffeur de pallet over een verharde ondergrond (zoals tegels of asfalt) op de gewenste plek krijgen.
