Na een nacht van ongenadige regen komt er een telefoontje binnen bij de telefonist op het hoofdbureau van de politie van Napels. Er is een straat verzakt en een gebouw ingestort aan de Via Tasso. De stad lijkt weg te spoelen onder een onophoudelijke vloed van stortregens. Maar er is wel meer vreemds aan de hand: er klinken klaaglijke stemmen uit een middeleeuws kasteel en vijfliremunten beginnen muziek te maken die alleen voor tienjarige meisjes te horen is. Carlo Andreoli, een melancholische journalist, doet verslag van die mysterieuze gebeurtenissen. Zijn zoektocht naar betekenis voert ons langs zinkgaten en stegen, langs barretjes en redactiekamers, en langs de gedachten van de inwoners van Napels. Malacqua is een hallucinant en veelstemmig portret van Napels, geschreven met de pulserende urgentie van een stad die op het punt staat verzwolgen te worden.

Great Tray For Storing My Everyday Carries

My everyday carry items (wallet, keys, etc.), used to just get thrown around wherever when I'd get home, but this little tray makes a great, defined, space for me to keep those things when I don't need them on me. The soft lining reduces the obnoxious sound of throwing keys on a hard surface, and of course keeps me from scratching up a surface. The build feels quality and I haven't seen any damage to it yet. Also the all black version with gold buckle looks quite good and adds a subtle touch of luxury. Absolute recommend for the price.
