De stokken staan tussen 330 en 350 m hoogte aangeplant, gericht naar het zuiden. De verschillende variteiten vergisten apart en worden achteraf geblend. De wijn rijpt niet op hout, maar op betonnen vaten om het fruitige karakter van de wijn te garanderen. Na 15 maanden rijping is de wijn vol en fluwelig met in de mond veel rijpe kersen en toetsen van zoethout.
