Werkzame bestanddelen
Elke kauwgom bevat nicotineresinaat, overeenkomend met 2 mg nicotine.
Hulpstoffen
natriumbicarbonaat (E500), watervrij natriumcarbonaat (E500), gombasis (bevat BHT), sorbitolpoeder (E420i), sorbitol 70% (E420ii), smaakstoffen, glycerol 85% (E422) en talk (E553b). De smaakstoffen bevatten sporen van ethanol.
Dosering
STOPPEN MET ROKEN 1. Stop vanaf de eerste dag volledig met roken. 2. U neemt één Nicorette kauwgom wanneer u de behoefte voelt om te roken. Sterk afhankelijke rokers wordt aanbevolen aanvankelijk Nicorette (/Freshfruit) 4 mg te gebruiken (maximaal 14 kauwgommen per dag). Andere rokers wordt aanbevolen de 2 mg kauwgom te gebruiken (maximaal 14 kauwgommen per dag). 3. Kauw langzaam, met regelmatige pauzes. Na ongeveer 30 minuten kauwen-met-tussenpozen is alle beschikbare nicotine uit de kauwgom vrijgekomen. De effecten van nicotine merkt u pas na een paar minuten; de snelle bevrediging zoals die optreedt bij het roken kunt u dus ook niet verwachten. Het gebruik van zure dranken zoals koffie of frisdranken moet u vermijden gedurende 15 minuten voor en tijdens het kauwen. Deze dranken beïnvloeden de opname van nicotine in de mondholte. Het langzame kauwen bevordert een optimale opname van de nicotine door het mondslijmvlies. Doorslikken van het speeksel moet dus tot een minimum beperkt blijven. 4. Nicorette heeft een speciale sterke smaak, die in het begin wat vreemd kan lijken. U zal er snel aan wennen. 5. Het risico om weer te gaan roken, is de eerste 3 tot 4 maanden het hoogst. Stop het gebruik van Nicorette dus niet te vlug tijdens deze kritische periode. 6. Nicorette kan alleen maar helpen. Definitief met roken stoppen zal altijd uw persoonlijke inzet vragen. Advies en ondersteuning verbeteren de kans op succes. 7. Zorg dat u altijd een paar kauwgommen op zak heeft. Leg ze op alle plaatsen waar u voorheen uw sigaretten bewaarde. 8. Verminder geleidelijk het aantal kauwgommen per dag. De duur van de behandeling is individueel. Er wordt aanbevolen na een behandeling van ongeveer drie maanden, het gebruik van Nicorette geleidelijk te verminderen. Wanneer u dagelijks nog maar 1-2 kauwgommen gebruikt, kunt u de behandeling stoppen. Ononderbroken gebruik van Nicorette gedurende meer dan één jaar wordt niet aangeraden. 9. Houd enkele reserve kauwgommen op zak aangezien het verlangen om te roken plots kan terugkeren. 10.Houd uw apotheker of arts regelmatig op de hoogte. Zij kunnen u advies geven. MINDER ROKEN 1. Vervang zoveel mogelijk uw sigaret door een kauwgom. De kauwgom moet gebruikt worden zodra er een drang is om te roken en dit om de rookvrije periode zo lang mogelijk te houden. Aanwijzigingen voor gebruik

Difficult to use and eventually hose end broke

I purchased this can of Fix-A-Flat to fix, what I believe, is a rim leak on my truck tire which needs to be filled once every week or so. When I attempted to use the product I let some air out of the tire (down to 25 psi) so it would be easier to dispense the contents. The instructions on the can say to have the valve on the tire at the 6 o'clock...which I did as well.
When I attempted to make the connection using the swivel connector on the can's hose it was difficult. The hose on the can is very short and stiff and because it came coiled in the can's lid, did not want to straighten out making connecting it to the tire a very awkward process. It was hard to screw the hose end on the valve without it binding so it felt like it was cross-threading. I have machined aluminum valve caps and they go one very easily so I know the threads on the tire's valve stem are clean.
I finally did get it on and when I attempted to dispense the contents it filled the hose but that was about it. I could not see any contents flowing thru the hose at all. I assumed it was not on far enough so I took it off to try again and the contents sprayed everywhere showing it was indeed under pressure....just not going into the tire. After multiple tries the hose end eventually just broke off and stayed on the tire's valve stem. I was able to get it off, but at this point the can is useless to me.
Obviously I cannot and will not recommend this product. I have used this product before and had success, but that was when the hose was longer and wired to the side of the can making it much easier to use, versus how they are shipped now. I would recommend going with another product or possible going to a box store (which is what I plan to do) to find one that does not have this design. At the very least, if you do choose to disregard this review, I would try it with the tire's valve stem at the 3 or 9 o'clock position which might make it easier to thread the hose end on to the valve stem,.
Also, if you choose to go this route you might just be throwing your money away. I attempted to get a refund from Amazon and was directed to the manufacture's web site. From there you are directed to use the 800 number of leave a general message that is in no way connected to your Amazon purchase. Past experience tells me it will not be an easy process so it looks like I am out the $12.

This is a necessity for anyone that tries a car!!

I haven’t used this yet, but I bought a case to give to my family members. My friend who came outside to a flat tire. It was a Sunday in Utah so there was really no one that could fix it. Walmart told her to get this product. She had to drive home immediately following using this product (300 miles) It has been over two months now and my niece is still driving on that tire. It was a brand new tire that was costly so she decided to just wait and see how long this product will work. Great gift for anyone in the family that drives. This does not work on a blown tire. If you wake up in the morning and your tire is flat, or you get out of class and your tire is flat, just use this product and no calls need to be made.
