Stoffen & materialen
Het vliegendeken is gemaakt van een dichte mesh stof. Dit houdt zo goed als alle insecten weg en is enorm sterk. Het deken is daarom een ideale weigenoot voor vele zomers. Omdat de stof glad is aan de binnenkant, heeft het een zacht gevoel en hangen er geen haren in het deken. Dankzij de lichte kleur van het deken reflecteert het de zonnestralen en houdt het geen warmte vast. De fijne mesh stof zorgt bovendien voor een goede luchtdoorlatendheid. Het borst-, manen- en staartgebied zijn gevoerd met een gladde polyester voering die schuren voorkomt.
Vorm & maat
Het vliegendeken is anatomisch gevormd om op de juiste plaats te blijven liggen, zelfs na het rollen. Het borststuk wordt door middel van een sterke klittenbandsluiting en de speciale driepunt sluiting gesloten. Door de driepunt sluiting kan je het deken beter afstemmen voor een nog betere pasvorm. Om de buik te beschermen is er een speciale buik flap. Deze flap wordt door een klittenband en drie rechte buiksingels vastgemaakt. Omdat de flap dicht tegen het paard aan zit, voorkom je dat insecten via de zijkanten in het deken kunnen vliegen. De staart flap is iets langer dan normaal en heeft een elastiek aan de binnenkant. Door het elastiek kan de staart van je paard dicht tegen het deken blijven en meer bescherming bieden. Het afneembare halsdeel is verstrekt met een dikker en sterker weefsel, waardoor het niet naar beneden glijdt. Omdat de versterking aan beide kanten van de nek is geplaatst, voert het geen directe druk uit op de manen.

An Great Upgrade from the Previous Edition, but a bit yellow

The Zondervan Greek/Hebrew Reader's has been a classic for students of biblical languages, who desire a full biblical text (WLC for OT/Eclectic text (NIV) for NT) with the helps and assist of a Reader's edition. The first edition (black, bonded leather) has been a mainstay for a number of years. This new release (second edition) updates a few things from the previous edition.
The second edition comes in a cloth-bound hardcover, which is an upgrade in my opinion from the previous editions bonded leather cover. The cover provides structure to the updated and improved binding. The fonts have been updated across the board, they are bolder and easier to read. This editions brings a lot of great updates and improvements on the first edition.
Unfortunately, the glosses provided at the bottom of each page are organized in paragraph form, rather than in columns (UBS5), which makes it a bit difficult to find the footnote number and word you're searching for.
Another big change is the paper color. The first edition had a bright white paper, the second edition is a deep creamy yellow paper. While I'm a fan of how readable this edition is (due to font changes), I feel the paper is way too yellow than it should be. (check pics see the difference).
All in all, if you can deal with the yellow paper, this is a fantastic edition to have for reading in the biblical languages. **bible graciously provided by Zondervan for an honest review

Very nice

They greatly improved the font (ie. a kappa looks like a kappa) and the yellowish pages are easier on the eyes. I really like it.

Not as good as the first edition overall
Format: Hardcover
The Greek part has used the third edition of the reader's Greek New Testament. But the font is not as dark and readable as the independent reader's Greek New Testament. Also, the words on the opposite page can be easily seen.
The Hebrew part is the same as before in terms of content, but the fort is not as dark and readable as the previous editions. Also, the words on the opposite page can be easily seen.
The pages are yellow and are not comfortable to read.
It is thicker than the first edition, not portable as the first edition.
I have been waiting for this new edition for a long time because of the poor font format used in the second edition of the reader's Greek New Testament. After I received it, however, I was very disappointed. You just do not enjoy reading it and using it. It is even not as good as the original edition. It is not worth 60 bucks. I do not suggest you buy it if you want to read it and use it often. If for reference only, 30 bucks may be a fair price.
