Echter staan we nu op het kantelpunt: de ‘gewone’ Portugese wijn wordt ineens ook bijzonder goed gewaardeerd. Dit is een langdurig proces geweest, warbij Taboadella vanaf het begin aanwezig was. Het begin in 1986, toen Portugal het lidmaatschap kreeg van de Europese Unie. De plots vrijkomende landbouwsubsidies zorgden ervoor dat kleine lokale wijnboeren ineens op een commercieel interessante manier hun wijnen konden gaan exporteren. Na vele investeringen en innovaties op het gebied van de Portugese wijnen, zijn zij in de jaren twintig van de huidige eeuw definitief doorgebroken.De Portugese wijnen van Taboadella
Het wijnhuis van Taboadella is stiekem ook van groot belang geweest voor deze revival van Portugese wijnen. Eigenbaar van Taboadella is de Amorim Group. Portugal is naast wijn en port ook de belangrijkste producent van kurk - de Amorim Group speelt hierin een belangrijke rol. Vanaf het begin van de huidige eeuw, zijn zij zich steeds meer gaan richten op wijnbouw. Eerst kochten ze het beroemde Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhore do Carmo, maar kosten ook een verlaten wijngaard in Dao, ten uziden van Porto. De naam van deze wijngaard: TaboadellaIndrukken van Taboadella 1255 Encruzado Reserva
Op de wijngaarden van Taboadella - in totaal maar liefst 40 hectare - is enkel ruimte voor inheemse rassen. De eerder aangeplante internationale rassen zijn allemaal gerooid om de prachtige druiven van de Portugese cultuur een plek te geven. Hierdoor vind je er druivenrassen die onbekend zijn, zoals de Encruzado. Dit is een druivenras die veel paralellen heeft met de welbekende Chardonnay, maar wat ons betreft nét dat beetje ‘je ne sais quoi’ heeft. Dankzij de houtlagering krijgt Taboadella 1255 Encruzado Reserva imposante tonen van rijpe peer, tropische perzik en getoast eiken. Een nootachtige zweem stijgt op uit je glas. Opvallend zijn de fijne, afgeronde mineralen die Taboadella 1255 Encruzado Reserva zo kenmerkend maakt.Shipping Notes

Bargain Espresso Machine Works Great

Great espresso machine, and a bargain at only $100! Pulls perfect shots with a generous amount of crema. And, it comes with a high-quality tamper. Tips: When you first turn it on, remember to run the steam wand for a couple seconds to prime the system. Test/experiment with the grind to get it just right--40 seconds with my blade grinder is working for me.

Great Espresso Machine for Beginners

Update:
Milk teamer doesn't deliver the foam like at the first couple of days, and the espresso doesn't come with the crema any longer. Somehow the pressure goes above the espresso range, and I tried to decrease the amount of coffee, and no results. I am so disappointed.
First thing that impressed me about this little espresso machine is how easy it to use. You can make a double espresso shot in literarily 1 minute. Second thing is size, the machine is pretty compact that you can place it anywhere in the kitchen without worrying about taking too much space. Also, it heats up quick, and the options are straightforward. The water tank is just the perfect size, which is excellent for me, and I don't have to refill water constantly.
Performance-wise, it feels solid and does an excellent job making shots like what you'd expect in a cafe. The water pressure is just right, delivering this espresso shot without the extra acidity. The flowmeter regulates the water evenly which is great in making that creamy espresso. Something else to note, it's small and also quiet, which is big to me since the last one was making unnecessary noise every time I make a shot. Now, the milk frother is pretty decent, and create that foam you'd love to see in your cappuccino and latte.
Overall, this is a pretty decent choice, and feels durable.

Beautiful, functional, and perfect for a stylish coffee bar
I absolutely love this scale. As someone who cares about both function and aesthetics, this was exactly what I was looking for.
