Dat is 14x meer dan Nederland en ongeveer een achtste van Champagne. De vergelijking met Champagne wordt vaak gemaakt, omdat zo'n tweederde van de wijnproductie in Engeland mousserend is. Een van de bekendste huizen uit Engeland is Gusbourne. 

De wijngaarden van Gusbourne liggen in Appledore, Kent en in de buurt van Goodwood in West-Sussex. Het zuiden van Engeland, vlakbij het Kanaal. De bodem bestaat grotendeels uit klei, met in Kent ondergronden van zand en schelpen, en in de South Downs, West Sussex vind je overwegend kalkbodems met vuursteenleem. Deze streek heeft klimatologisch veel gelijkenissen met Champagne. Niet gek dus dat het merendeel van de productie hier uit mousserende wijnen bestaat. Wijnmaker Charlie Holland (what's in a name?) maakt hier misschien wel de mooiste mousserende wijnen van Groot Brittanië. Dit kan zich in alles meten met grote Champagnes.  

Deze Gusbourne Rosé bestaat uit een blend van chardonnay, pinot noir en pinot meunier. Na de oogst worden de druiven direct geperst en natuurlijk bezonken gedurende 12 tot 24 uur. Daarna vindt de vergisting plaats op 18-20 graden gedurende 10 dagen in RVS tanks. Voor de tweede vergisting wordt een klein percentage rode wijn (op hout gerijpt) toegevoegd om de zalmroze kleur te verkrijgen. De wijn wordt gebotteld en ondergaat een tweede vergisting op de fles, gevolgd door een rijping op de gistcellen gedurende 30 maanden.

Perfect fit for our 2018 X5 35D
Perfect fit. Never replaced a filter in this car before and took me only 13 minutes. I timed it lol. That includes taking some before and after pictures from the old and new filter. What is worth mentioning is that the car was until now under the “fake maintenance” from BMW that comes with a new car and goes until 36.000 miles. Up to this mileage there is no other service the. The oil changes (3) due. The first real checkup is at a higher mileage and not covered anymore. Anyway , those filters where replaced before from a BMW dealership. When I compare the new filters and the filters I took out of the car they look the same. I was expecting to find some BMW marks on the installed filter but perhaps they don’t put their name in it anymore??? Or it could be they also put “after market” parts in. Anyway, BMW quoted me in all seriousness 700 dollar to replace those filters and the Inside filter The inside filter is on its way and is 25 dollar. Together with those filters the parts came to 55 dollar and I guess a total of 30 minute of work. Well done BMW, lol. We all need to make a living buy that should be considered “robbery” Anyway, if you thinking about replacing those filters then go for it. It’s not complicated and all you need is a screw driver to get one plastic river out that you can push back in once you are done. Those filters here from MANN are the real deal and fit perfectly and state that they are made in Germany. I have no reason not to believe it.
