BRONCHOSTOP® Hoestdrank tijm- en heemstwortelextract is een traditioneel kruidengeneesmiddel dat wordt gebruikt als slijmoplossend middel bij hoest tijdens een verkoudheid en als verzachtend middel voor de symptomatische behandeling van een geïrriteerde mond of keel en daarmee samenhangende droge hoest. De toepassing is uitsluitend gebaseerd op traditioneel gebruik en niet op klinisch bewijs.
Waarvoor wordt dit product gebruikt
Traditioneel kruidengeneesmiddel, slijmoplossend bij hoest en verzachtend voor keel en mondholte en bij droge hoest. De toepassing is uitsluitend gebaseerd op traditioneel gebruik en niet op klinisch bewijs.
Niet gebruiken bij
Als u overgevoelig (allergisch) bent voor de werkzame bestanddelen tijm en heemstwortel of een ander lid van lipbloemigenfamilie of voor één van de andere stoffen in dit geneesmiddel.

Werkzame bestanddelen
15 ml (= 16,7 g) oplossing bevat: 120 mg droog extract van de gedroogde bovengrondse delen van de bloeiende Thymus vulgaris L. en/of Thymus zygis L., overeenkomend met 840-1560 mg gedroogd tijmkruid. (Extractiemiddel: water). 830 mg vloeibaar extract van de gepelde, gedroogde wortel van de Althaea officinalis L., overeenkomend met 59-69 mg gedroogde heemstwortel. (Extractiemiddel: water).
Hulpstoffen
Xylitol (E967), methylparahydroxybenzoaat (E218), propylparahydroxybenzoaat (E216), frambozensapconcentraat (bevat sucrose, glucose en fructose), frambozenaroma (synthetische en natuurlijke aroma"s, propyleenglycol (E1520)), xanthaangom, citroenzuurmonohydraat (E330), maltodextrine, Arabische gom (gummi arabicum E414), gezuiverd water
Dosering
Volwassenen en jongeren vanaf 12 jaar: 15 ml iedere 3 tot 4 uur, 4 keer per dag, zo nodig tot maximaal 6 keer per dag; maximale dosis per dag is 90 ml. Kinderen van 6 tot 12 jaar: 7,5 ml iedere 3 tot 4 uur, 4 keer per dag, zo nodig tot maximaal 6 keer per dag; maximale dosis per dag is 45 ml. Kinderen jonger dan 6 jaar: Het gebruik bij kinderen jonger dan 6 jaar wordt niet aanbevolen

Truly indestructible!
My 80lb English bulldog, that literally can chew his way through a tree trunk if left to his own devices, has not been able to destroy this toy. Rather, he’s enjoyed chomping on it bc of the scent and heavy weight for more than a year. Good value and will hopefully last many more years.

The warnings on the box say it's dangerous, the product page said it was safe.
Besides being much smaller than expected, this is from the box:
+ It's important to select the proper size & type of chew for your dog's age, weight & chewing strength. - "The Amazon page says it's 'Safe for All Dog Sizes.'"
+ Always supervise the use of all chews & toys - "The Amazon page says 'a safe alternative to edible chews when you can’t be home.'"
+ Product is not intended to be eaten or ingested. If you think your dog swallowed a piece, take the product
away and contact your veterinarian. - "The Amazon page says it 'provides a safer alternative to real sticks. Safe non-toxic. A safe alternative to edible chews when you can’t be home."
I've been disappointed by Amazon purchases before, but this is the first negative review I've written because this thing seems dangerous for dogs. I would report it to Amazon, but I can't figure out how.

It's not for aggressive chewers.
Flavor Name: Peanut Butter, Size: Large
The bone looks solid except for the brown strip wrapped around it. My dog chewed a piece of it off and tried to swallow them. I had to pull two strips of hard plastic out of his mouth. I threw the bone away.
