Epi-Otic is een niet-irriterende, indrogende oorreiniger met ontsmettende eigenschappen op basis van melkzuur en salicylzuur in ingekapselde (spheruliten) en in vrije vorm en bevat chitosanide en natriumdocusaat. Het is uitstekend geschikt om bij honden en katten overmatig oorsmeer en ontstekingsmateriaal in de uitwendige gehoorgang te verweken en te verwijderen.

Melkzuur heeft desinfecterende eigenschappen (pH-verlaging). Salicylzuur is keratolytisch effectief (hoornlaag verwekend) en vertraagd ontstekings- en jeukremmend. Het heeft een indrogend effect. Spheruliten zijn in lagen vloeibare micro-bolletjes die zorgen voor een vertraagde afgifte van werkzame stoffen en daarmee voor een langdurige werkzame werking. Chitosanide is een afbreekbaar biopolymeer dat zich met sferuliten aan de huid en haren hecht en een vochtregulerende werking heeft. Natriumdocusaat is oppervlaktespanningsverlagend waardoor een sterke verbetering van het penetrerende vermogen van de vloeistof wordt waargenomen.

Affordable protection plan and superb customer care
I usually don’t buy extended warranty, but I took a chance and added a 4-year Asurion Protection Plan to my purchase of a Canon PIXMA printer. So glad I did!! After only a year and a half, my printer showed an error message 6800. Cannon website states “Support code 6800 generally indicates a failure with the logic board on your printer. Service will be required.” How convenient for that to happen shortly out of Canon’s regular 1-year warranty (🙄). I called Canon. Long story short…they couldn’t do anything for me unless I purchase a warranty plan from them and they send me a replacement or I would need to pay for a repair. No thanks. I called Asurion and talked to a very nice tech support person. She couldn’t get rid of the error message remotely, so she transferred me to another very nice support specialist, who helped me start a repair claim. Asurion mailed me a box with a lot of packing material, along with shipping instructions and label to ship my printer to them for free. A few days into the repair process, they determined my Canon printer was unrepairable and they emailed me an Amazon gift card that same day for the cost of my crappy Canon printer. They were in total communication via email throughout the repair process. I highly recommend Asurion, and I would definitely purchase another protection plan from them again.
