Standaard zit bij deze softbox een Falcon Eyes Speedring, geschikt voor alle Falcon Eyes flitsers, namens de SS-serie. Met behulp van een positieve speedring (zie: "Optionele Accessoires") is de octabox onder andere te gebruiken voor Bowens, Broncolor, Elichrom, Hensel, Multiblitz en Linkstar.

Deze softboxen zijn niet geschikt voor halogeenlampen (zoals de QLT-1000 van Falcon Eyes), vanwege de hoge warmteontwikkeling van deze lampen. Voor dergelijke type lampen zijn de softboxen uit de SBQ serie geschikt.
