De twee belangrijkste essentiële vetzuren voor honden en katten zijn EPA (Eicosapentaeenzuur) en DHA (Docosahexaeenzuur).
EPA is belangrijk voor onder andere het hart, de bloedvaten, de luchtwegen en de communicatie tussen zenuwcellen. DHA heeft een grote invloed op het goed functioneren van de hersenen. Voldoende DHA zorgt voor een goede concentratie en betere leerprestaties. Door de aanwezigheid van DHA in omega 3 wordt dit vetzuur aanbevolen tijdens de dracht en lactatieperiode.
Honden en katten beschikken niet of nauwelijks over de benodigde enzymen om essentiële omega-3-vetzuren afkomstig uit plantaardige oliën om te zetten in EPA en DHA. Daarom is het voor hen belangrijk dat deze vetzuren uit dierlijke bron worden aangeboden. Linolzuur, een essentieel vetzuur van de omega-6-categorie, zit doorgaans in overmaat in de voeding.
Aan Vis Omega is natuurlijke vitamine E toegevoegd om de houdbaarheid te verbeteren.

Nice bedding set for price

I bought a set of these for my bedroom and guest room. They are true to color, relatively soft, fit perfect, and the comforter is pretty fluffy. The sheets didn't wrinkle and they are easy to wash and dry without doing anything special. My dog stained my guest room set and I absolutely will be ordering another one

Great set for the price!

I’ve had the set for several months now and I really like this set. I was nervous about the comforter being thin and cheap, however, after washing and drying it is a really good comforter for the price. The sheets and pillow cases are also very smooth, no pilling or ripping, stitches are still intact, so I think it is set is great.
