For sale is a fragment of an iron meteorite (also known as Tektite). These fragments come from a variety of well-known meteor strikes including the Nankan strike (China) and Sikhote-Alin strike (Russian Federation).

• The fragments measure about 3/4 inches long (2cm) long and may differ slightly from what is pictured in the photos (i.e. some are rounder, some are flatter).
• The fragments weigh approximately 5 to 20 grams a piece.
• The composition of these fragments is mostly impact glass and some other compounds including iron, quartz, zircon, rutile, chromite, and monazite.
