Running from 1978 to 1986, this classic series follows the lives of Arnold (Gary Coleman) and Willis Jackson (Todd Bridges), two orphaned brothers from Harlem who are taken in by wealthy businessman Philip Drummond (Conrad Bain) and his kind-hearted daughter, Kimberly (Dana Plato).
As the boys adjust to their new life in a luxurious Manhattan penthouse, they bring laughter, life lessons, and plenty of mischief to their adopted family. Whether Arnold is cracking jokes, Willis is learning valuable life lessons, or housekeepers Mrs. Garrett (Charlotte Rae, seasons 1-2), Adelaide Brubaker (Nedra Volz, seasons 2-4) and Pearl Gallagher (Mary Jo Catlett, seasons 5-8) is keeping everyone in check, Diff’rent Strokes delivers timeless comedy and heartfelt storytelling that made it one of the most iconic sitcoms of its era.
