Skinuva Scar+ SPF 30 has all the benefits of the original Skinuva Scar but with added non-nano Zinc Oxide for broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection. This is the only scar cream on the market that uses selective Growth Factors and Zinc Oxide. It works to improve redness pigmentation and thickness of scars while helping to prevent sunburn. If used as directed with other sun protection measures, Skinuva Scar+ decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun.
The 15 mL / 0.5 oz Skinuva Scar+ is ideal for smaller scars less than 1 inch in size; such as scars from small biopsies, Mohs/skin cancer, arthroscopic incisions, or laparoscopic incisions.
Skinuva Brite is one of the few safe and effective hyperpigmentation products on the market that does not contain hydroquinone. Skinuva’s team of doctors and scientists were able to integrate selective ingredients to create what is now regarded as one of the most advanced topical creams for hyperpigmentation. In clinical studies, Skinuva Brite was nearly 30% more effective in improving hyperpigmentation than HQ4%.
Use in Combination
While Skinuva Scar+ and its ingredients help reduce the appearance of scars, Skinuva Brite can also help improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation. Depending on the procedure, both products can be suitable in your pre and post treatment recovery procedure.
Long Term Scar Treatment: Skinuva Scar+ is best used after your surgery or for treating a recent scar (cosmetic and non-cosmetic surgery). If after this use of Skinuva Scar+ for 3-6 months, there is the appearance of residual hyperpigmentation associated with the scar, Skinuva Brite may also be used and can be helpful to further improve the hyperpigmentation at that time.
