COURSE DETAILS

Our theory sessions are held  every fortnight on Saturday, prior to the theory session you will need to complete the Enriched Air Diver, on the Saturday you will complete the practical portion of the course, including the pre dive analysis of 2 Nitrox tanks.

If you are booking this in conjunction with a course or trip, you will receive 2 cylinders of Enriched Air Nitrox to use on 2 of your dives during your accompanying double boat dive or SSI dive course.

Prerequisites:
• Be at least 12 years of age
• Hold at least your Open Water Diver certification (including Junior) or equivalent

When you sign up with us, your Nitrox Diver materials will be sent to you.  The theory portion of this course takes place in both your own time and in the classroom.

You will need to complete the eLearning and come into our dive centre for a 1-2 hour theory session. During this session, we will go through a quick review and answers with an instructor prior to going through the Pre Dive Analysis of a couple of Nitrox cylinders.

You’ll learn why diving with air that has higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content gives you more bottom time, along with enriched air equipment considerations. During a the course, you’ll:

• Discuss managing oxygen exposure.
• Practice analyzing oxygen content in your scuba tank.
• Set your dive computer for diving with enriched air nitrox.

• Personal Snorkelling Equipment (Mask, Snorkel, Open-Heeled Fins & Boots)
