Work up a vest that makes a statement!
FOUR Tuesdays from 6-8pm on the following dates: July 7th & 21st, August 4th & 25th
The Polina Vest by Teti Lutsek is the perfect opportunity to push your knitting skills further while working up a cute, multi-season statement piece!
The vest includes some more advanced techniques that we will learn together: Japanese short rows, Italian bind off, and Ladderback Jacquard for catching long floats in colorwork.
The bottom-up construction means that every part of this knit is fun, as we start with the colorwork up front and end with professional-looking finishes that ensure an excellent fit!
This class is perfect for intermediate knitters who have made multiple garments before, and are familiar with colorwork (must be able to manage two balls of yarn at once, stranded knitting experience is helpful but not mandatory).
What you need to know and be comfortable completing without help from the instructor (or you're willing to learn before this class): How to knit in the round and in small circumference, how to knit and purl, how to read a basic pattern, some familiarity with colorwork (should be familiar with managing multiple colors of yarn at once)
What you'll learn in this class: How to use Ladderback Jacquard technique in stranded colorwork to catch long floats, bottom-up vest construction, central double decrease stitch, Japanese short rows, Italian bind off
