6g Citrulline, 200mg Caffeine, Straight-Up Performance Boost

Bucked Up Essentials is a solid mid-level stim pre-workout that keeps it simple: pump to feel the workout, energy to hit it hard, and fatigue fighters to keep you going when motivation dips. No crazy everything-included mix here. It's a tight, fully open-label stack for pump, energy, focus, and pushing through reps.

The star is 6,000mg citrulline malate. Citrulline boosts nitric oxide, which opens up blood vessels for better flow and nutrient delivery to muscles. It's better than straight arginine because it converts effectively in your body. In the gym, that means fuller pumps, muscles that feel powered up, and sets that don't go flat. 6g is a dose you'll notice if you're serious about pre-workouts.

Then there's 2,000mg beta-alanine. This stuff helps make carnosine in your muscles, which fights the acid buildup causing that burn during tough sets. Studies show 3.2-6.4g daily is ideal, so 2g isn't the max, but it's still helpful with regular use. You might feel the tingles right away. Over time, it's about building carnosine to handle more work in sets from 1 to 10 minutes.

200mg caffeine anhydrous handles the energy. It's a middle-of-the-road amount—enough to boost alertness, drive, reaction time, and make effort feel easier, without making it only for hardcore users. For many users,

Key Highlights

  • 6,000mg Citrulline Malate — the main player here, and a dose you'll feel in your workouts. It ramps up nitric oxide via the arginine path, leading to better blood flow, bigger pumps, and sets that feel more effective.
  • 200mg Caffeine Anhydrous — a solid mid-stim amount that sharpens your edge and gym motivation without going into heavy territory. It's enough to lift your game but easier to handle than those 300mg+ beasts out there.
  • 2,000mg Beta-Alanine — a good add for keeping reps going, even if it's under the 3.2-6.4g daily sweet spot from studies. It builds carnosine in muscles over time, buffering that burn so tough efforts last longer.
  • 200mg AlphaSize® Alpha-GPC — a branded choline that helps with focus, muscle control, and connecting your mind to the lift. Makes energy feel targeted, not all over the place.
  • Full label transparency — everything's listed with exact doses. In a world of hidden blends that might be weak or overhyped, this lets you check it out for real.
  • Vitamin B12 at 100mcg as methylcobalamin — the active form at a strong dose. Not the main event, but it's quality for supporting energy and nerves.
  • Taurine plus Himalayan rock salt — a smart duo for keeping cells hydrated and muscles working, especially when you're sweating. Doses are on the lighter side compared to dedicated products, but the idea is solid.
  • Deer Antler Velvet Extract at 50mg — a unique touch from Bucked Up's style for performance and recovery. Not the big driver, but it adds some flair to the mix.

Who Is This For?

  • Intermediate gym rats on hypertrophy plans wanting bigger pumps and session quality without high-stims. 6g citrulline malate delivers flow you feel in volume, 200mg caffeine keeps intensity up without chaos.
  • Powerbuilders mixing heavies and accessories. Supports the whole thing: caffeine and AlphaSize® amp the start, citrulline and beta keep the end productive.
  • Morning lifters needing a boost to train hard early but not a 300-400mg overload. 200mg is punchy yet doable, especially with real pump backup.
  • After-work crew wanting support without bedtime interference. Moderate stims are easier than max options, cut other caffeine to make it work.
  • Folks upgrading from beginner pre's to serious ones. Compact, open label teaches what you're getting, no blends or fluff.
  • Lifters chasing mind-muscle on presses, pulls, arms. AlphaSize® and caffeine give clean focus, citrulline makes muscles pop with flow.

How to Use

One serving 20-30 minutes before lifting. Gives caffeine time to wake you while the rest circulates. If stim-new or sensitive, half-scoop first—200mg can hit hard if you're low on caffeine usually. Shake with 8-16oz cold water; more water lightens flavor. Empty stomach speeds it, food slows the kick. Skip stacking with other stim pre's, big burners, or energy drinks unless tracking total caffeine. Good with 3-5g daily creatine, intra carbs, electrolytes for heavy sessions. Beta-alanine builds carnosine better with regular use. No need to cycle citrulline or beta, but some cycle pre's for caffeine tolerance. Keep sealed, cool, dry, away from heat.

What to Expect

0-10 minutes in, it settles, and you start feeling more awake on an empty stomach. 10-20, caffeine hits clearer, some get beta tingles from 2g. 20-40 is prime time: focus up, drive high, 6g citrulline bringing pumps and responsive muscles. 40-90, still supported without hard crash, energy eases naturally. Days 1-7, it's mostly caffeine, citrulline, focus. Weeks 2-4, consistent use makes beta-alanine pop, sets feel more doable before fatigue wins.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in Bucked Up Essentials?

Each serving provides 200mg caffeine anhydrous. That places it in the moderate-stim range: enough for a strong pre-workout effect for most users, but lower than the 300-400mg doses common in high-stim formulas.

Is 6g of citrulline malate a serious dose?

Yes. 6,000mg citrulline malate is one of the strongest parts of this formula and sits right where experienced users expect meaningful pump and blood-flow support. It is substantially more credible than the 2-3g doses found in many underdosed pre-workouts.

Will Bucked Up Essentials make me tingle?

It can. The formula includes 2,000mg beta-alanine, and that ingredient commonly causes a harmless tingling sensation called paresthesia in some users. The tingles are not the performance benefit themselves; the real value comes from beta-alanine's cumulative role in raising muscle carnosine over time.

Is the beta-alanine dose fully clinical?

Not by itself. The most studied beta-alanine intake range is 3.2-6.4g daily, and this formula provides 2g per serving. That means it is directionally useful, especially with consistent use, but not a full standalone clinical dose from one serving.

What does AlphaSize® do in this formula?

AlphaSize® is a trademarked alpha-GPC ingredient that supplies choline, a precursor to acetylcholine. In the gym, that typically means cleaner focus, better mind-muscle connection, and more directed energy when combined with caffeine.

Can I stack Bucked Up Essentials with creatine?

Yes, and it is a smart stack. This formula does not include creatine, so adding 3-5g creatine monohydrate daily complements the pre-workout by supporting phosphocreatine replenishment and strength output while Bucked Up Essentials handles energy, pump, and workout feel.

Should I take it every day or only on training days?

For the caffeine effect, training-day use is the obvious application. But if you want to get the most from the 2g beta-alanine, more consistent daily intake is better because carnosine loading is cumulative rather than acute.

Is this a good pre-workout for beginners?

It can be, especially compared with more aggressive formulas, because the label is transparent and the caffeine dose is moderate rather than extreme. Beginners who are stimulant-sensitive should still start with half a serving to assess tolerance.

Does this contain a proprietary blend?

No. One of the strengths of Bucked Up Essentials is that the label is fully disclosed, so you can see every active ingredient and its dose without guessing.

What should I expect to feel from the first serving?

Most users will notice increased alertness from the 200mg caffeine within 20-30 minutes, along with a stronger training mindset. As the workout gets underway, the 6g citrulline malate is the ingredient most likely to show up as a fuller pump and better muscle feel.

I love it!
Size: TKL- Tenkeyless, Size: TKL- Tenkeyless
This wrist pad is the right size, approx. 14” wide. It provides support and doesn’t hurt my wrist. I needed a wrist rest that was comfortable and this one is awesome. It’s has some firmness, but it’s not hard, and has some give to it, see video. I also like the fabric, it feels good against your skin and doesn’t collect lint. The plastic gel pads always seem too hard for me, not providing comfort. Glad to find this wrist pad on Amazon! It fits well next to a laptop or large iPad (especially if you have the keyboard to go with the iPad). The wrist pad allows me to work in comfort. With my laptop, I use this wrist pad along with a soft mousepad, on the right side of my laptop.

Great!
Size: Compact
Super soft and very comfortable! It perfectly fits my 75% keyboard. It was almost impossible to find one at this size and I'm glad I did. There's no "overhang" at all and its flush with my keyboard. It stays put and isn't slippery at all and it's just the right height too.

Great Gel Wrist Pad
Size: Full Size
My husband games with the boys every weekend, and he had finally splurged on a gaming system and new monitors. I bought this for him so he can rest his wrists while using the keyboard. He says the quality is great, length perfectly fits the keyboard, it does feel like it is cooling, nice design, very durable so far, not too high so his wrists sit comfortably for typing. Would purchase again but it looks like we won't need to as it is holding up very well.

Comfortable, Simple, Reliable
Size: Tenkeyless, Pattern Name: Keyboard, Size: Tenkeyless, Pattern Name: Keyboard
This is a phenomenal product, and exactly what I wanted. I used to have wrist pain while gaming; I bought this, and then completely forgot that I used to get wrist pain while gaming. The foam is firm, but comfortable; it’s very supportive, but also flat and consistent. It’s cool, so my wrist never gets sweaty or hot just from using the wrist rest. Its rubberized bottom prevents it from moving at all while gaming. I’ve used it for about a year, and the foam has no indentation at all; in fact, there’s not noticeable wear of any kind. My one complaint, that I’ve seen in other reviews as well, is that the fabric skin of the wrist rest isn’t quite fit over the foam: there’s some extra material, and it can wrinkle slightly. Overall, I’m quite satisfied with the product! It’s completely eliminated my wrist pain, and I’ve gotten a year of use out of it with no problems so far. I’d say that’s more than worth the fair price, and I would buy it again without hesitation!
