Dimensions Mathยฎย PreK-5 seriesย features the progression, rigor, and pacing that define Singapore math. Throughout the series, five characters offer students suggestions on how to think about problems. They remind students of strategies theyโ€™ve learned and point out important information that encourages them to come up with their own solutions.

Textbook lessons begin with a task that allows students to apply their previous knowledge and learn through discussion. Once students have mastered a concept with the use of concrete and pictorial aids, they are ready to take on more abstract mathematical problem sets. They reach fluency by collecting various strategies along the way and applying them to new problems. Word problems give students a sense of math in real-world contexts.ย 

Workbooks offer independent practice that follows a careful progression of exercise variation. Each textbook lesson includes a corresponding workbook exercise that starts with pictorial representation and progresses to more challenging abstract problems. Workbooks for PreK-2 are perforated.ย 

Teacherโ€™s Guides include lesson plans, mathematical background, games, helpful suggestions, and comprehensive resources for daily lessons. Lessons are laid out clearly and activities are designed for the whole class, small groups, and extension.

The only reason I deducted a star was because the fur side and the velvety side arenโ€™t sew together anywhere besides the edges/seams, so when I fold it itโ€™s basically like 2 blankets just sewn together and not one blanket. When you lie with it and cover you, they sort of separate if that makes sense but it doesnโ€™t bother us. Itโ€™s so comfy to have on the couch and while movie watching. The only time it sort of a pain is when I fold it. In saying that, I would buy again. The velvety side is a soft tan/beige and the fur side is creams, off white and variations of the tan/beiges. So lovely. You can see it next to a solid cream colored blanket I have that I also bought on Amazon. It matches well and I love it!

This is actually baby bunny soft! I was very pleasantly surprised. The top side is plush and the bottom side is smooth but in a velvety suede type smooth. It is very well made and after machine washing and drying it several times it still looks and feels new.
