Cartonnage is an amazing technique. Making your own fabric box is a great idea! It is so fun and it makes a unique handmade gift! You can make your own keepsake boxes, cases and much more out of paperboard, fabric and glue with this lovely craft!! And your pieces will be sturdy as wood, but made with your favorite fabric! This is a great beginner project! So easy and quick to make!

This DIY cartonnage Kit comes with all cardboard you need to make two single fabric boxes, as shown in the pictures. The pieces of paper (chipboard and poster board) are precut in the right sizes you need for this project. The finished box will be 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" x 4 3/4". The metal feet showed in the pictures is not included, it is a personal option. These boxes are great gifts! Can be used as a pencil box, sewing notions and for so many other purposes.

FREE online instructions in my FREE online course Joy of Cartonnage. In this online course you will also have basic cartonnage complementary content with videos. For making the box you will need this kit, two coordinating scraps of fabrics, glue, rotary cutter, cutting board, a small paint roller with tray, paint brush, scissor and masking tape. Great shoes for the little one taking his/her first steps!! I actually ordered 2 pairs, one for my son in the 12-18 months (even tho he was 10 months old) and a 6-12 month for a friend. The 6-12 month fit my son perfect!! (my son was in a size 5) but I knew they would only last a few weeks so I kept the 12-18 month ones and he started wearing them. He seemed to like them, never tried taking them off and they were easier to walk in than socks but for some reason the top of the foot area is HUGE! They stayed on no problem but lots of wiggle room in the top... He is now running and wears shoes with a thicker sole for the rocks but we still love these for inside when it is too cold to go barefoot. I would say the 12-18 month fit like an average size 6.
