Each diaphragm spring endures an exclusive four-stage heat treating process to provide a consistent light pedal feel. Puck-style Friction Plates with high quality ceramic friction materials deliver high friction coefficient, superior heat capacity, and long clutch life. These Friction Plates uniformly transfer torque to a Mono-Drive sprung hub assembly, which extends input shaft life and reduces driveline shock from torsional vibration. This kit includes a CNC-machined and dynamically balanced flywheel, pressure plate cover, diaphragm spring, face, puck-style ceramic friction plates, sprung Mono-Drive hub assembly, floater, alignment tool and pilot bearing (where applicable). Solid Timepiece

Overall, I’m really happy with this watch. The only small complaint I have is adjusting the bracelet. I picked up a $15 watch repair kit to size it myself, and while it wasn’t difficult, the push-pin links were definitely more of a hassle than I expected—especially compared to my Oyster bracelet with screws. Just a bit time-consuming, nothing major.
Once that part was done, though, I’ve loved everything about it. It’s a great everyday watch, surprisingly accurate, and one of those pieces you just don’t get tired of looking at.
For what it’s worth, this is coming from someone who also owns a Submariner—not trying to flex, and yes, I fully realize how douchey that sounds. Nothing screams “please validate my life choices” like bragging about an overpriced watch that basically just tells time. But in all seriousness, I only mention it to give some perspective on how much I genuinely enjoy this one.
