The most common filter is made of cordierite. Cordierite filters provide excellent filtration efficiency, are relatively inexpensive (comparison with Sic wall flow filter). The major drawback is that cordierite has a relatively low melting point.

Wonderful for my super dry skin

This moisturizer is great, I have no complaints. I have VERY dry skin and live in Chicago - where winters only make matters worse. This product has actually healed my dry, cracked skin and improved it's overall condition. It absorbs quickly and the scent is mild.
