These fittings are manufactured using PE 4710 black compounded resins listed in the PPI TR-4/2010 and which conform to international standards for potable water including NSF 61.


Sizes 3" IPS and larger are pressure rated 200 psi (water) and the equivalent MAOP (gas) in accordance with governing regulations.  All other fittings are rated 160 psi (water) and the equivalent MAOP (gas) in accordance with governing regulations

Approved on pipe materials: PE 2406 / 2708, PE 3408 / 3608 and PE 3408 / 3608 / 4710


For pipe diameters less than or equal to 2" IPS,
approved Wall Thicknesses include SDR 11 and below (thicker).  All larger couplers are approved for SDR 17 and below (thicker).


Fusion time and cooling time are clearly marked on the barcode label of each and every fitting. In addition, they may be obtained using a barcode reader. 

Couplings of diameter 12" IPS and smaller are equipped with a red colored self-recognition terminal pin that communicates fusion time automatically to Plasson Controllers (the Smart-System solution) when the terminals are connected according to instructions.


These fittings may be welded successfully at ambient temperatures from 14 to 113 degrees Fahrenheit (-10 to 45C). 


These fittings are designed, tested and quality controlled with procedures based on the following international standards:

ASTM F1055
AWWA C906
ISO 8085
ISO 14236
FM 1613 (FM approved fittings only)

The quality assurance system for these products is in accordance with ISO 9001, which imposes stringent standards of control throughout the manufacturing process.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
