Obsidian is a naturally occurring glass-like substance formed by volcanic lava when it cools rapidly, with only minimal crystal growth. Some consider it a rock, others glass. Whichever you prefer, it is beautifully formed and polished by hand in Saint-Leonard-de-Noblat, France. The metal accents are called "chiseled" have a hand-crafted basket-weave pattern, and can be ordered in any of 34 finishes, according to your choice. Each tumbler or toothbrush glass is custom made and shipped directly to you from France, in about 30 days. Some of the more exotic finishes require take up to six weeks for fabrication. Shipping is free, and there are no import duties or taxes.Features

- There are 34 finishes for your selection Shipped FREE, many in 30 days, directly from Saint-Leonard-de-Noblat, France. Some of the more difficult to fabricate and less common finishes may require up to six weeks.
- After custom fabrication and finishing, the pieces are hand-packed and shipped to you free, via DHL International Express. You pay no import taxes or duties.
Cristal & Bronze
Joining the inner circle of French companies with outsanding craftsmanship and manufacturing expertise, in 2013 the French government awarded Cristal et Bronze the coveted “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant†label. This certification is in recognition of its heritage acquired through manufacturing experience, its knowledge of old-world techniques, and its ongoing search for innovation through technological progress.
Cristal & Bronze was founded in 1937 in Paris, France. Today its workshop is located in a medieval village near Paris - Château-Landon - where each piece is custom made by hand. Skillful craftsmen, trained in traditional metalworking techniques lend their extensive know-how to the process. It can seen through the impeccable quality of the products they make - especially pronounced through their perfect finishes, including amongst others, gilding and patinas.

Hemisphere
Designed in 1998 by Slivie Coquet, daughter of J.L Coquet, the Hemisphere Collection comprises Limoges porcelain striations with satiny white enamel accents.

I've ordered about 4 different automatic shakers from different brands. They all have different problems, motor not strong enough, charging cable on the front of the charging base (in the way on a counter), hard to open refil covers, small containers not holding enough salt/pepper. FINALLY this one checks all the marks I've been looking for. Its weighty too since its made of stainless. Large refil container, easy to remove just a twist. Grind selector is a twist at th e base with a clear arrow showing size. Large press button at top so you can hold it in any rotation in your hand and not have to look for the button/switch to turn it on. No cover that needs to be flipped open and then closed to put back into the base. Contacts for charge are on the back side and not at the bottom where salt can corrode the contacts. The list can go on but you get the idea. Just buy this one and be done with it!

Edit: Customer service actually did offer to replace it. Received the new set and it works fine. Nice set. Only gripe is I think that the motor could be a little stronger. Sounds like it’s struggling at times.
Received a defective item reached out to customer support for Circle joy and they’re basically saying that it’s user error and not a defect in their product, even though I explained to them that the other one works fine. When adjusting the coarseness on one of the grinders, the grinder ends up loosening up, which ends up with you spilling the pepper corns everywhere. It’s a nice set if it worked right but for $40 I expect her device to be a little more polished.
