An excellent choice for trellises or pergolas. Very aggressive spreader and drought tolerant.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: High maintenance. Prune in early spring before flowering. Needs sturdy support, as the plant gets heavy. The biggest problem is restraining the suckers to prevent self-seeding and smothering nearby plants.
