Generally regarded as "America's Painter," realist Andrew Wyeth (1917-2009) is perhaps the most well known of the artistic Wyeth family dynasty, which includes his father N.C. Wyeth, sister Henriette Hurd, and son Jamie Wyeth. Although most recent explorations of this artist have focused on his family and on the Helga pictures, this unique publication chronicles seven decades of an underappreciated yet historically relevant aspect of his relationship to home and community. Andrew Wyeth: Close Friends is the first critical look at a significant body of paintings and works on paper depicting Wyeth's African-American friends and neighbors in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, a quaint village on the Brandywine River, where he has lived since birth.

Andrew Wyeth: Close Friends includes over 100 color reproductions of major tempera and watercolor paintings and numerous black-and-white images of graphite drawings. Works reproduced are drawn from public and private collections, with a large number from the personal collection of the Wyeths. In addition to a foreword by Museum Director R. Andrew Maass, the book includes family photographs and facsimiles of personal correspondence.

Finally, a Loofah That Isn't Skimpy
I’ve gone through my fair share of bath puffs, and usually, they’re pretty disappointing—either they’re super thin or they fall apart before you even get a good lather going. These Amazon Basics ones are a total breath of fresh air because they’re actually nice and full. They have that dense, fluffy mesh that makes even a tiny drop of body wash turn into a ton of bubbles, which is exactly what you want. The size is perfect, and unlike those cheap, flimsy ones, these actually have enough texture to exfoliate your skin and get it feeling smooth without being too scratchy. They also have a sturdy little rope so you can hang them up to dry easily. I honestly liked these so much that I’ve already bought them a second time. If you’re looking for a simple shower upgrade that actually does its job, you really can’t go wrong with these.

A Spa Experience at Home
I absolutely love this bath loofah—it’s one of those small upgrades that makes a big difference in my routine. The texture is just right: firm enough to exfoliate and leave my skin feeling super smooth, but still gentle so it’s not irritating. It lathers up beautifully with just a little bit of body wash, making every shower feel like a mini spa session. The quality is great—no unraveling or falling apart after multiple uses, and the loop makes it easy to hang and dry quickly. I’ve noticed my skin feels noticeably cleaner and softer since I started using it regularly. If you’re looking to elevate your shower experience, this loofah is a must-have. Affordable, durable, and refreshing—I’m definitely buying more for backups and gifts!

Good Quality!
Much larger than I expected. Good quality. I have been using for a month now and it is holding up very well. Great value too. So much better than cheap dollar store versions I have bought in the past.

Good but small
Does a great job but they could be bigger to be more effective.
