The debut release from Savant Guarde Records is CROSSROADS. This is a rare piece of Pentagram archival history. It features singer Bobby Liebling and some local musicians and Pentagram members performing original music and cover songs. This rehearsal tape was recorded in preparation for an appearance at LOUIS ROCK CITY, a famous venue known for its notorious Battle of The Bands competitions in the 1970s and 1980s. The concert was one of two concerts held in 1980. This miniature gatefold pocket lp replica features an introduction from Bobby and a view of the flyers and newspaper (of the day) clippings from the concert. This recording is raw, however you can really hear a band of young rockers at their best. It captures a moment in history when even a local band playing one gig had enough fire and drive to impress listeners worldwide over 40 years later.

Bobby Liebling continues to play with Pentagram today, and his current and newest incarnation of the band provide a suitable platform and live engine to carry the mans legacy as well as Savant Guardes’ rare archival releases around the country (and world) as merch table product and soon to be fan favorites and or curiosities. The band continues on to this day, and Bobbys relationship with Savant Guarde Records is impeccable.Savant Guarde co-founder Daniel Rozell has been a 20+ year friend and associate of Bobby Lieblings and has seen an unprecedented change in Bobbys lifestyle choices and attitude toward his career and worth in the past several years. He has been sober now for about four years and has been a constant success where ever he plays. His recent tour of Europe and his new release coming on Heavy Psych Sounds this winter is a testament to the will and power of this man’s determination to take on the world. He will never give up, and he has so much more to offer.
