This is the last book of their adventures because, in the last story, รGoodbye Hugoร, Hugo has grown old and dies. This may seem a morbid end to the stories but I feel young children have to deal with the subject of death and animals dying. I hope I have presented the subject in a sensitive way but if you do not want to read this chapter to your child, that is your choice.
