The first warning passing through Thebes--
As small a sound

As a housefly alighting from Persia
And stamping its foot on a mound

Where the palace once was;
As small a moth chewing thread

In the tyrant's robe;
As small as the cresting of red

In the rim of an injured eye; as small
As the sound of a human conceived

A compelling, lyric telling of the story of Oedipus, and of "what happens outside the play," in the experience of the god who is its presiding oracle: Apollo, the god of poetry, music, and healing. Given the task of setting the Sophocles text to music, the god is woven reluctantly into its world of riddles, unanswered questions, partially disclosed objects, and ambiguous second-hand reports--a world where the gods, as much as humans, are subject to the binding claims of fate and necessity.

Gjertrud Schnackenberg draws upon ancient fragments and allusions to Oedipus and upon folk-tales about the origin of the Greek alphabet to present a vision of the tragedy's essential unknowableness, where the destinies of gods and humans secretly mingle in the unfolding of time, and where Zeus's laws, which suffuse the great tragedy's world, are as invisible and as inviolable as physical laws.

Best sunscreen brand! Fair, sensitive-skinned and rely on this
Style: SPF 50, Size: 5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Alba Botanica is my favorite brand for sunscreen products and it checks all the boxes on my list: Excellent long lasting coverage, fine mist spray and easy coverage cream versions, great for my sensitive skin (no breakouts- I do NOT use it on my face though), the Hawaiian fragrance is pleasant, it’s reef safe (a big one for me as a snorkel/dive aficionado), and organic ingredients. The large size lasts 5 full days when on a boat all day in the Carribbean, and I only apply it twice (once in morning, and again midday.) I have fair skin, and I never burn. The spray version is, by nature of its aerosol capacity, a bit drying on the skin, but this is to be expected, and it creates a long lasting barrier. The cream version is a wonderful emollient, although not quite as long lasting. Best deal is only in the summer season at CostCo for a 2 pack... in my searches, Amazon has the best deal otherwise.

Works Great Without the Horrible Smell
Size: 5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
This bug spray does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It works well for keeping bugs away and doesn’t have that strong, overwhelming smell that a lot of repellents do, which I really appreciate. It’s easy to apply, not greasy, and works well for both adults and kids. Overall, it’s been reliable. Definitely recommend!

Feels great!
Size: 5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Big spray is never 100% proof, but this gets 5 stars because it’s one of the best bug sprays I’ve used. It doesn’t feel sticky. Women will appreciate this - it doesn’t burn on newly-shaved legs either! The smell isn’t too bad either. I actually bought this because my friend had it while camping in FL a couple weeks ago. We all really liked it.
