Available officially for the first time, Revelations includes two hours of never-before-heard Albert Ayler recordings presented for the first time chronologically. Featuring some of the last recordings Ayler made before his passing in 1970. This is a major event in the music world, released in collaboration with INA France and the Maeght Foundation. 5 LPs are split into a double gatefold and trifold jacket with both housed in a deluxe slipcase. Also included is a 12 x 12 booklet featuring essays by Ben Young and co-producers Jeff Lederer and Zev Feldman, interviews with jazz icons Sonny Rollins, Archie Shepp and a host of others, plus never-before-seen photographs from the concerts. Transferred from the original Radio France tape reels by INA. Mastered for vinyl by legendary sound engineer Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio and pressed on 180-gram vinyl.
