Tsuki Usagi (Moon Rabbit) Jirushi Slim Mug is crafted from a durable metal base, coated with a thick, lustrous layer of glass-like enamel.  As well as being tough, light and easy to clean, enamelware is totally free from the odd tastes and odors that you sometimes get from metal products.  Immensely popular in Japan in both households and cafes, we're proud to introduce this cheerfully stylish, Moon Rabbit mug to the American market.

Enamelware is superior in maintaining heat and preserving the taste of pure water. The ceramic surface does not have any metallic ions as in stainless steel which can alter the taste of water inside.  Enamel coated metal is more sanitary comparing to metallic surfaces.  The hard-to-scratch surface can keep clean better than uncoated metal products, where germs have no place to hide.

    These plates are very convenient for busy days and parties, hold up well with regular meals.

    I grabbed these for the upcoming summer because we have so many events coming up: graduation party, kids sleepovers, family gatherings and honestly even for those lazy evenings when I am just too tired to deal with dishes. I am actually very happy with them because they hold up much better than many disposable plates I've tried before. The plates feel sturdy enough for regular meals and snacks without immediately bending or getting soggy. One thing I appreciate is that they were even reusable for lighter drier snacks like nuts, crackers or cookies. If the food wasn't greasy or wet, we could easily use the plate a second time which actually helped reduce waste during busy gatherings because i noticed people going around and reusing for multiple foods. My son use them to do a quick warm up in the microwave for a slice of pizza but was only for 30 seconds and it seemed fine so i can say they are microwave safe but for shorter cycle. I love the white background with blue trim details. These are really practical plates to keep stocked up at home considering the great bulk value of 140 plates, very convenient, sturdy and a huge help when you want easier cleanup without constantly washing dishes. Lifesaver! Here is how I rate items: 5 Stars = Exceeds expectations, a good find. 4 Stars = Very good quality, worth trying. 3 Stars = Decent and does what is says. 2 Stars = Below expectations with noticeable issues. 1 Star = Very poor quality, would not recommend.
