Overall this is a very good product

I bought this because every sunblock I own eventually gets in my eyes and burns the living daylights out of them. I prefer to use something that isn't laden with chemicals, is cruelty free and reef safe so this looked like it would fit the bill and indeed, it does. It is a true "no tears" formula which I very much appreciate. As with so many zinc based sunblocks there's still a slight "Kabuki mask" effect but it isn't as bad as some of the other zinc products. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's easy to spread because it doesn't have a lot of "slip", doesn't glide like the non-zinc products. You do have to work with it for awhile to get rid of the decidedly chalky consistency but once you get going it seems to be okay. I think somebody else mentioned using a moisturizer before you put it on which seems like good idea even though this is supposed to be moisturizing. Would I purchase this again? I'm pretty sure I will because the "no tears" aspect of the product is important to me. I'll probably use it with a light carrier oil on my face first, let that oil sink in and then put this on top. I have the most sensitive reactive skin. I regularly will breakout to products that are supposed to be hypoallergenic and non-clogging. It absorbed in like regularly lotion not leaving any white cast or sticky feeling. There was no scent which is SO important. I wore it only in the sun not swimming so I cannot comment on how well it works under those conditions. I will by this again without hesitation. If you are in need of a high quality sun protector and have skin like a baby or you are a baby this is the best.

Don't leave home without it!

This sunscreen has been a lifesaver for me. I'm an avid kayaker, have a very fair complexion and hate wearing hats, so I'd be toast (literally) without this. I'm also now allergic to fragrance and several commonly used preservatives, so to find that this sunscreen has no fragrance and none of the suspect additives was a joy. It goes on lightly, rubs in easily and seems to really hold up protecting my skin for 2-3 hour trips on the lake. I never leave home without it. The only drawback I have is that it's sometimes cumbersome, or difficult to get the top to line up correctly in order to spray it and it can be unwieldy trying to do this with one hand. I haven't found anything better, and really appreciate that it's available and not at an outrageous price either.
