Intelligent Battery Management for Longevity
The innovative BatteryLife feature prevents damage from running your batteries flat. When a solar charge controller cannot fully recharge the battery in a single day, the battery often cycles between a partially charged state and the end of discharge state. This can destroy a lead-acid battery in a matter of weeks or months. The BatteryLife algorithm intelligently monitors the battery's state of charge and, if necessary, slightly increases the load disconnect level day by day until the harvested solar energy is sufficient to recharge the battery to nearly 100%.
Advanced Detection in Partial Shading
In situations with partial shading, the BlueSolar MPPT 75/10 showcases its advanced Maximum Power Point Detection. Conventional MPPTs might lock to a local Maximum Power Point (MPP) that isn't optimal. However, the innovative BlueSolar algorithm will always maximize the energy harvest by locking to the most favorable MPP.
Comprehensive Electronic Protection
This charge controller is equipped with extensive electronic protection. An internal temperature sensor compensates the charging voltage based on the ambient temperature. If the system's temperature rises above 40°C, the controller will automatically reduce its output current to protect itself. It also includes safety measures against overheating, short circuits, and reverse polarity of the solar panels or battery.
