This Electronics and Photonics Kit is tailored for HSC curriculum, covering both basic electronics and photonics. It is designed to be user-friendly, allowing students to conduct experiments with minimal guidance, making it suitable for instructors with varying levels of expertise in electronics.
All components are fixed on the work panel and connected using 2mm banana plug cables, adaptor to 4mm is available. The instrument includes a built-in 9V regulated power supply that can be powered by either a 12V AC or DC mains adaptor or any LV power supply. An audio amplifier and speaker are also included.
Kit Includes:
- 1 x Main panel with all components fixed in place. Including audio amplifier, speaker and volume control
- 5 x 2mm banana plug links stackable for 2mm plugs
- 2 x 2mm banana plug links stackable to 4mm plugs
- 6 x 2mm to 4mm banana plug adaptors
- 7 x Cables, 300mm long, with 2mm stackable banana plugs each end
- 1 x Length of optic fiber cable
- 1 x Cable for connecting a radio or CD player to the panel
- 1 x Temperature sensor on probe
- 1 x LED on a probe
CD of Experiment (sold separately)
The CD includes a file that introduces the user to the equipment and explains the design philosophy. Two versions of the 9x experiment files are available: one for students and one for teachers, which includes answer keys. Even if multiple experiment kits are purchased for a class of students, only one CD is needed for the entire school since all files are freely copyable.

Genuine Lexus Filter / Quick Delivery
Initially I had installed non-genuine Lexus filter, which the seller claims it fits Lexus RX. That filter fits (kinda). After installing the air-filter and closing the lid, I could see the edge of the filter because the lid did not close tightly. I am not a mechanic, but I was concerned. Hence, I ordered the genuine Lexus filter from Lexus dealer through Amazon. I paid twice more than non-genuine filter (including extra shipping charge of $10.00).
Genuine filter arrived in the FEDEX box (looks and feels pretty sturdy enough to protect the filter) only 2 days after I placed the order. I have just replaced the filter. The lid closes perfectly. Although I spent total $40, for the peace of my mind, it's the money well spent.

Great Filter - shipping needs to be improved
The air filter was great and would recommend the OEM filter. My only
Complaint is that they didn’t ship it in a box but only slapped on a shipping label on to the original air filter box.
It took about a week to get to me (Arizona) and the box looked really beat up and luckily the filter was still ok by the time it got to me. Recommend putting it in a box to protect it from damage.
