The Vickers Wellington stands as an iconic aircraft in the RAF’s bombing campaign against Germany. Initially used in daytime raids, it transitioned to night operations after sustaining heavy losses early in the war, continuing in this capacity throughout its first half. Later, it was assigned to Coastal Command for anti-submarine missions. The Wellington was operated not only by British RAF squadrons but also by Czechoslovak, Polish, New Zealand, and Canadian units.

This 1/72 scale kit includes six sprues of gray plastic, a clear parts sprue, resin exhausts, and a decal sheet featuring markings for two Polish squadron aircraft—one in an anti-submarine camouflage—and several RAF night raid schemes. Among these are the Polish aircraft Elzunia (Lissie), two RAF Wellingtons including one flown in Africa and another funded by Nana Sir Ofori Atta I of the Gold Coast, plus a distinguished aircraft from No.311 (Czechoslovak) Squadron.
