Less of a band than an exuberant orbit of bright weird planets circling the joyful kinesis of main-songster Theo Hilton, Nana Grizol's debut album "Love It Love It" sees release on Orange Twin on May 13, 2008. Recorded in their hometown of Athens Georgia directly after a month-long tour of DIY spaces across the States, this record finds the band brimming with energy and rightly well-honed where live performance is concerned; "Love It Love It" sacrifices none of the band's beloved, sweat-stained essence. The crew augments Theo's book-open vocals and beautiful finger picking with a suitably eclectic array of instrumentation. Laura Carter and Robbie Cucchiaro, both formerly of Athens' legendary and notoriously horn-buoyed Neutral Milk Hotel, head up a brass-and-winds section comprised of Laura's celebratory trumpet, Robbie's Baritone Euphonium, a couple clarinets, harmonica, recorder and whatever else you can pack into a touring-trunk and bring along for a blast. Rhythmic backbone comes courtesy of Southern punk rock siren Madeline Adams' bass, Matte Cathcart's drumming and some right-on Fender Rhodes piano provided by Hot New Mexicans' main man Patrick Jennings.

Love these floating shelves!

Holes in brackets are not spaced for studs!

So the quality of this not great, but good enough and they look nice enough on the wall. However, the bracket holes are not spaced at 16" intervals. WTF? I'm not sure who designed this thing. The molly plugs that came with it look OK, but to play it safe I used a cobalt steel drill bit and made my own holes in the bracket. Easy enough with some wd40. My other pick with this is that the screws to anchor the shelf to the bracket are black and and very obvious... they should have supplied some kind of cap.

Excellent Quality and Beautiful!

This is the second order Iβve made of these shelves (a different length and color for a different room). Iβve put up floating shelves before, and over time they listed although they never fell down. Everything about these shelves suggests they will last a long time. The shelves are beautiful, very well sanded and varnished, and the wood grain is lovely (same with the darker shelves). The installation is relatively simple with easy-to-understand instructions and the support that the shelf fits into is sturdy. Everything works as the directions say, and the shelves seem sturdy when installation is complete. The seller clearly takes pride in their product; even the packaging is very carefully and artfully done. A drill makes the job far easier than it would with just a screwdriver. One set of my shelves are placed one directly below another, so it took some time and my 2 foot level to make sure they are vertically even. If the shelves are offset from each other, as we did with the first installation, itβs easier and takes less time. I would recommend these to anyone.

Premium Quality Shelves That Look Amazing

For my Kitchen remodel, Iβve ordered several of these shelves, in different lengths, and Iβve been consistently impressed with the quality. I had never installed floating shelves before, but the process was surprisingly straightforward even when I customized my own corner setup.
The shelves are beautiful, made from real wood with exquisite grain patterns, and they arrive very well sanded and varnished. The installation instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the mounting bracket is sturdy with an excellent precision fit. Once installed, the shelves feel extremely solid and secure.
This company clearly takes pride in its products. Even the packaging is carefully and thoughtfully done. With some careful measuring, clamps, and a pocket hole jig, I was able to combine two different shelf sizes to create a custom corner shelf that turned out great.
I highly recommend these shelves and will definitely continue purchasing them as I add more to my home.
