Description

John and Marie's House with Buffalo Bill's loft, 1977When I first arrived at Taylor Camp I was just this young girl from Canada very naive in a lot of ways and very innocent. I had a little orange tent and lived on the beach and gradually got to know everybody. There was this tiny shacka surfboard storage shackand this guy said, You can live in the shack if you want. And so, I had a place, I became more a part of the in group. I stayed in that little shack for a few months and then I met John Calagna

“When I first arrived at Taylor Camp I was just this young girl from Canada— very naive in a lot of ways and very innocent. I had a little orange tent and lived on the beach and gradually got to know everybody. There was this tiny shack—a surfboard storage shack—and this guy said, “You can live in the shack if you want.” And so, I had a place, I became more a part of the “in” group. I stayed in that little shack for a few months and then I met John Calagna and I ended up moving into the house that he built with Buffalo Bill’s loft attached. Bill had a separate entrance up an adjoining tree.”

“They called him Carpenter John, although he was a musician and played in the band with Bill. Well, we conceived our daughter in that house. I remember, right before we conceived her, we dreamed about her, we fantasized about her. We’d say, ‘We’re going to have a beautiful little girl, Genie Calagna.’  John would rub my belly and say, ‘Magic Genie come out, Magic Genie come out,’ and we saw how she would look, and then we had her.” — Marie Calagna

PHOTO PRINTS
Prints are on Hahnemuhle heavyweight (315 gsm) 100% archival cotton “Photo Rag Baryta” paper, using archival inks and archival spray coating. They have a 200-year life expectancy before any deterioration of the print will be observed when stored, handled, and displayed under archival conditions.

CANVAS PRINTS
What is often called “Gallery Wrap Canvas” is a fine art inkjet (Giclee) print on canvas, with printed edges to wrap around a wooden stretcher frame, like a painting. With canvas prints, your print image is still the same size, but given a "wrap effect" around the edges to account for the thickness of the stretcher. Canvas can be rolled and shipped with no effect to the print. Your local framing shop should be able to mount the canvas to stretchers at a fraction of the cost of traditional framing, making for an overall more economical way to get fine art on your wall. The canvas is printed to wrap around a 1-inch stretcher (1.5 inches on larger sizes). Specifications will be provided with your order. Feel free to contact us if you need guidance with your canvas order.

John prints, titles, dates, and signs all of his photos.

Great price, does a good job
Size: 9 inches
I’m mostly old. School when it comes to yard equipment. A gas engine has got to be better than a battery . I have  a weed eater that will take out a tree but makes a lousy edger. Since I  don’t have a large lawn, I gave this guy a try. Turns out it does a pretty good job. Can’t beat the price and it’s simple to use. Be aware, this vendor sells the unit only. They have no spare parts and you will need to source replacement blades. ( they supply 1 spare). Otherwise, worth a try. John J Why did you pick this product vs others?: A cheap price and a limited need.

Not too bad for the price
Size: 9 inches
I was skeptical if an edger as cheap as this one would do the job at all. I figured if it worked at all it might be worth the price. I was surprised be it is actually pretty good. I have a medium sized area. Just one driveway and about 30 feet of sidewalk. I will use it four or five times a summer and I expect it will last for a few years. It hold a charge enough for my needs. If you have a large driveway or plan on using it every day, you will probably be disappointed. But if you have a small area to do, its not bad.
