ACT triple disc kits include a pressure plate, three discs, two floaters, and flywheel. Some kits may include a pilot bearing and release bearing. ACT Triple disc kits meet SFI Specification 1.2.

I think it’s because this sponge doesn’t absorb the makeup into it but instead releases it onto your skin for better coverage.
