The Damond Motorsports Oil Catch Can kits come with everything needed for an optimized Oil Catch Can system. An oil catch can is, in a sense, a filter for the positive crankcase ventilation system. The oil catch can(OCC for short) is used to tap and contain blow-by oils and condensed crankcase gases, that would otherwise flow throughout the PCV system back into the intake tract, and allows for draining of these fluids remotely. With the addition of an OCC kit, blow-by oils and gasses are routed to the OCC, allowing them to be captured. This prevents the blow-by from entering the intake system, where it would otherwise contaminate the clean air entering the engine. Cleaner air leads to better combustion, more power, better fuel economy, less detonation, and less oily build-up on the valves.

What sets the Damond Motorsports OCC kits apart from the rest, is that we fully test our OCC components, to insure the best OCC set-up for your vehicle. Only high quality components are used in the Damond Motorsports OCC kits. Our OCC kits come tailored to fit your GR Corolla perfectly, for a no-hassle, quick and simple installation.

The DM OCC kit connects into the valve cover PCV/above engine induction tube hose connection. Oily blow-by contaminates travel this path during boost, as the intake is intended to pull a slight vacuum as air travels past the PCV port. This causes a fine oily mist that would otherwise flow into the intake, turbo, and eventually intercooler and piping. With the DM OCC kit in place, the hoses route the blow-by to the OCC, where they can be filtered and cleaner air is sent back into the intake. In turn the primary benefits are: cleaner air mixture, and less oily build-up on the valves and in the intake manifold.

Included in each Damond Motorsports GRC OCC kit:
-A Damond Motorsports OCC fully assembled
-Hose splicer connectors to connect to the OEM hose as well as aftermarket hoses
-Oil and vacuum resistant hoses
-Location specific bracket, and mounting hardware
-Slim stainless steel hose clamps
-Zip ties to keep the hoses at bay
-Drain barb and hose included

The DM Billet OCC features:
-NEW Billet design, allowing for greater serviceability and modularity.
-Layers and layers and layers of perforated baffle plates, allowing a large surface area for blow-by vapors to latch onto and keep the intake tract clean. The bottom layer features an oil scraper. Blow-by is forced directly onto the scraper, while the air is pushed around the sides of the can to the back of the lower chamber. The air is then drawn up diagonally through 3 more perforated plates, before it exits the top chamber.
-A super easy to use high flowing drain valve.
-The OCC assembly features viton o-rings, for superior oil & fuel compatibility.
-The hose barb ports are a -8 ORB, allowing for various fittings.
-Anodized black for enhanced durability.

A Comprehensive and Well-Mapped Camino Guide
Format: Kindle
This updated edition of the Camino de Santiago guide offers a thorough overview of all six major routes. It's really great that you can download detailed, panoramic maps for each route, providing clear, step-by-step directions that are extremely helpful for planning and navigating. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned pilgrim, the insights into each stage, town, and accommodation (from hostels to albergues) are invaluable. The book also covers essential packing tips and advice on physical preparation, which I found very practical. There are bonus links for accommodation guides are very useful, as well as other bonus links scattered throughout. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that I felt it could include more in-depth cultural or historical background for each route. That said, if you’re looking for a guide that’s all about practicality and gets you started with planning your pilgrimage, this is an excellent choice.

This book is gold, well written.
Format: Paperback
This is one of few IT books I'd recommand. Reading this book really save a lot of grindings in advancing my career. The knowledge shared in the book is came from real and actual practice in the IT field. I wish there are more authors like Jay. This book is a treasure to me, it is unlike most of the other books I read that were either teaching outdated config or title baits, for example, the "official" CCNP 350-401 book that taught me the outdated ikev1 crypto map config. I own the LPI essential certificate during my college time, but the college course didn't give me the same confidence as this book. I am now feeling very comfortable and confident with Linux system and I found the beauty in it. I am 100% recommanding this book to everyone are interested in Linux, either for personal or at work. This book will be my reference to go at all time.

Best written tech book I've read in a long time
Format: Paperback
I've been following Jay on youtube since I decided to ditch Microsoft for Linux. He is a blend of Sys Admin and teacher. He makes a complicated subject understandable even to a 75 year old retiree. The best way to master Ubuntu server is to listen, watch, read and do. Thanks Jay; GOOD BOOK!

Comprehensive?
Format: Paperback
I am a huge fan of Jay LaCroix and happy to support him by buying this book. That said, this book is in my opinion fully priced and not very comprehensive. My guess is it has more to do with Packt publishing and less to do with Jay. For sure, the content that is there is good and easy to consume ... as per Jay's style. And to be fair a truly comprehensive book would probably be another 1000 pages long. But a couple examples: cursory coverage of systemd:. eg discussion is on chron, crontab, etc instead of systemd timers. NTP server: if you have an Ubuntu server it would be great to set it up as your LAN NTP server for all your devices to sync time. Here is the coverage in this book "all servers should have the ntp package installed" Really? Do I need to disable systemd-timesyncd? Do I need to limit access by lan? How about setting up an Nginx reverse proxy for LAN services like unifi, pihole, etc? Sorry 3 pages of coverage. I am not trying to run down this book, only suggest that if you are looking for an authoritative comprehensive guide on Ubuntu 22.04, this probably will not be your only purchase. With all the foregoing, I would still buy this book if for no other reason than to support the author.
