The K&N 69-8433TTK Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon air intake which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 69-8433TTK air intake comes with an ultra-lightweight topped and flanged K&N high-flow air filter that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive black powder-coat finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory mass air sensor and crank case vent hose. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. Some Typhoon air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. No returns and no support. If it doesn't work properly, too bad.

I was fairly happy with my Epson ET 2800, but was told that I'd get better colors with the F170. So I bit the bullet.
The installation went smoothly and I was printing in short order. It was when I started printing items that had some dark gray that I noticed the problem. It was printing green. I contacted Epson tech support and they answered the phone almost immediately. (And how rare is that??)
The woman I spoke with seemed to be familiar with the problem and advised me to modify the printer preferences and change the color correction from "ICM" to "No color correction". Well, it wasn't printing green anymore. Now the grays were brown. At this point, she ran out of ideas and gave me an email address for the second level of tech support and asked if I'd send a photo of the printed fabrics showing the problem. I did. That was over three weeks ago. I've sent a couple of followup emails, but they're ignoring me.
But the best news was discovering that there are no returns on this product. I didn't think that was a thing with Amazon and I've never had any problems before. So now the 30-day return window is about to elapse and it appears that I'm stuck with an oversized doorstop.
In the photo I'm including with this review, the fabric on the upper-left was printed with my Epson ET 2800. On the upper right, the F170 with ICM color correction. On the bottom, the F170 with no color correction.

Epson SureColor F170 Sublimation Printer Rocks!

TIβm a newbie at sublimation, and this is my first sublimation printer. I love it! I canβt wait to make more things! I like that itβs not too large, but still can print up to 8.5x14β. The quality seems to be really good, but I also donβt have any other printer to compare it to. This was my very first project! Iβm very happy with it so far!

Best Sublimation Ink I have found so far. Great size bottles for the price you pay. Lasts a long time and the colors print great and when you press the print the colors come out BEAUTIFUL and VIBRANT! Dries quickly after printing so no worries on smudging but even after sitting over a month on the paper still presses like you printed it that day!

Consistent, Vibrant Results That Match My Designs Perfectly

Iβve been consistently purchasing this Hiipoo sublimation ink for my sublimation printers, and Iβve been extremely pleased with the results. The print quality is excellent, with vibrant colors and clean transfers every time.
What I really appreciate is how true the final product turns out compared to my original designs. The colors stay accurate, and the finished results look exactly the way I intended, which is very important for my projects and products.
This ink has been reliable and consistent, and I will definitely continue using it for my sublimation work.
