Curve all-road bikes have been designed for a wide variety of terrain so you can enjoy bike adventures whenever and wherever you choose, and the Belgie Ultra does it all with a sublime ride feel and the kind of performance that has delivered ultra-distance race wins across the globe.
The Belgie Ultra was developed from the original Belgie (now in its third iteration), that Curve co-founder Jesse Carlsson’s rode to success in winning the 2015 Trans Am Bike Race. Curve wanted to develop the Belgie name further, with dirt road capabilities and adding to its load carrying capacity.
The Belgie Ultra features Curve’s Race 370 fork, resulting in plenty of clearance for tyres of up to 33 mm. In fact, both frame and fork can accommodate 33 mm CX/gravel tyres for greater off-road stability and grip, and a wee bit larger in a smoother tread tyre.
The Belgie Ultra features Bento Box mounting points on the top tube allowing riders to secure belongings in most bolt-on bike bags. Curve have also increased the size of the front triangle, allowing more storage capacity for top tube frame bags and water bottles, leading to ample room for bike-packing bags on all frameset sizes.
The latest Belgie Ultra also offers greater stability and an improved geometry with longer chainstays, front centre, and overall wheelbase across all sizes. A taller stack and extended reach help make the Ultra more comfortable on day long rides. This also helps minimise toe overlap when using a wider tyre. This improved geometry makes the Ultra perfect for those long road kilometres, but also makes the Ultra perfect for fast, light gravel and rough back lanes and byways.
