Memory Care Unit is a long-form offering of poignant, isolationist machine music from Secret Boyfriend. Eschewing the cryptic and compact song-sketches that characterized his 2013 LP This Is Always Where You've Lived (BLACKEST 023LP), Ryan Martin instead guides listeners through vast interior topographies and nerve-damaged ambiences that comfort and deceive like memory itself. Beginning with The Singing Bile - minimal synth submerged and subjected to an almost oceanic pressure - the tracks are mostly crude, extended live improvisations, recorded straight to tape. Martin's loose intention was to subtract himself from proceedings and let the music play itself, but the erasure is not quite complete; on the contrary, each piece feels distinctly authored, and charged with personal significance. The atrophying loops of Memorize Them Well broach the elegiac grandeur of Gas and William Basinski, while Paean delle Palme summons E.A.R., Af Ursin, and the clammy, opioid exoticism of : zoviet*France:*'s Just an Illusion. The album is largely instrumental, but there are two weighty exceptions: the sprawling, drumbox-driven space blues of Little Jammy Centre and the guileless yearning of Stripping At The Nail. This is electronic pop undressed, unraveled, and mapped onto the infinite wave. Expansive and enveloping, Memory Care Unit's offering of comfort and refuge is difficult to resist. But this amniotic idyll is frayed and haunted at it's edges, and ultimately treacherous. The return to innocence it promises may be possible, but the price is separation, alienation, and loss. Housed in full-color reverse-board sleeve with printed inner sleeve. Includes MP3/FLAC download code.

Great for adults who need full liquid diets!

I don't really write very many reviews, but I am an adult with gastroparesis and these pouches are amazing!! I've been dealing with GP for over 15 years and I wish I'd known about these sooner. When I am in a bad flare, sometimes all I can keep down is liquids and baby food. These are so gentle on my stomach, and leave me feeling truly nourished, unlike so many of the mainstream baby foods that are clearly low quality meat or very sugar laden. I try to make my own soups and liquids from a Paleo mindset, but sometimes when you're really sick, you don't have the energy to even put something in the blender. These are amazing for those times and will be a staple in my arsenal from now on.

My daughter goes crazy for these!

I was really nervous about introducing meat to my daughter, but Serenity Kids pouches made it really easy!
She loves the turkey bolognese one, and I love that it's pasture-raised with organic ingredients! My 8 & 6 year old gave them a try and said they were super yummy! Highly recommend!!

Not just for kids. A great snack for long drives.
Flavor Name: Turkey Bolognese with Bone Broth, Size: 3.5 Ounce (Pack of 12)
Our daughter buys these for her toddler (1-1/2 years old). I do a lot of long distance driving and thought that these would be a convenient way to have a snack or even a small meal. I have just spent six days behind the wheel on a road trip and they worked out great! A good mixture of protein (beef, turkey, chicken) and veggies, especially the combinations. They are easy and safe to use while driving, have good flavor, are more filling than I thought they would be, and are certainly healthier than the snacks that are usually available on the road.

One Satisfied Mom and Baby
Flavor Name: Turkey Bolognese with Bone Broth, Size: 3.5 Ounce (Pack of 12)
Early on when on the hunt for baby food, this was one of the few brands where not only can I pronounce all of its organic ingredients, but the proteins were all pasture raised, wild caught and grass fed. So the true test was the taste test, SHE LOVED IT! Ate the whole thing in a matter of minutes. I use these when Iβm out or on the run and I love it because I know sheβs getting adequate nutrition with the best ingredients.

Hear Me Out!

Okay, all moms, you've got to hear me out on this one!
The first time my kiddo tried this he hated the flavor! I mentioned it in my IG stories and the company themselves sent me tips and tricks on how to serve these meats.
The problem was, my baby had never had baby meat before, just fruits and veggies. Please understand that the thickness is a little thicker, but still creamy enough for even new eaters. We tried different recipes and ideas and now my son love them and gets his proteins.
I am SUPER impressed with this company and their willingness to help and offer advice and ideas. Their products are HIGH quality and made of only the best ingredients which makes this mama very happy!
