What is a Remote Desktop Services (RDS) CAL?
An RDS CAL is a mandatory license required for any user who connects to a Windows Server configured with the Remote Desktop Session Host role. It is an additive license required in addition to the standard Windows Server CAL for basic server access. To legally enable a user for remote desktop access, you need two licenses for that user: a Windows Server User CAL and an RDS User CAL.
This pack provides User CALs, licensing a specific person to access RDS from an unlimited number of devices.
