Joe LeSueur lived with Frank O'Hara from 1955 until 1965, the years when O'Hara wrote his greatest poems, including 'To the Film Industry in Crisis', 'In Memory of My Feelings', 'Having a Coke with You', and the famous Lunch Poems-so called because O'Hara wrote them during his lunch break at the Museum of Modern Art, where he worked as a curator. (The artists he championed include Jackson Pollock, Joseph Cornell, Grace Hartigan, Jane Freilicher, Joan Mitchell, and Robert Rauschenberg.) The flowering of O'Hara's talent, cut short by a fatal car accident in 1966, produced some of the most exuberant, truly celebratory lyrics of the twentieth century. And it produced America's greatest poet of city life since Whitman. beautiful draping and forgiving

A beautiful dress. Well made. Fully lined. I don't know what they mean by front slit. There's no slit unless they meant there's a waist line. Fitted but true to size. There's a side zipper that helps get in and out of the dress. There's also a corset in the back that pulls any slack. I'm 5'5" and weigh 185 lbs. It's ankle length. The Drop makes good dresses. I bought the Crimson too and it's a beautiful red that makes everyone turn and gaze. There's another dress the Drop makes which is polka dot and same version in ivory. Beautiful draping and forgiving. I found these dresses when viewed at emanuela.moss@tiktok.

Cute dress, just not for me.

The Good β the color is accurate, and the pattern is pretty in person. Itβs fully lined, and The material doesnβt feel cheap.
The Bad β the fit was just odd. Iβm a 6/8 and reliably a medium, but the fit was so weird on me, that Iβm not even sure what the problem was. I donβt know how a bust can be both too big and too small, but thatβs what I felt like here! The length was also not good for me, but is accurate to the picture. Iβm 5β4β and it hit right above the ankle bone.
TLDR; the dress is nice, but the fit is bad on me.
