The soundtrack for the Cup was composed, arranged & conducted by Bruce Rowland, one of Australia's most successful and highly acclaimed composers. Bruce's work is well-known within Australia and internationally having worked on an extensive and impressive list of films in Australia and the United States including the Man from Snowy River, which saw the soundtrack achieve double platinum status and won Bruce his first AFI award. Following this tremendous success, Bruce then wrote the scores for Phar Lap (1983) and Rebel (1985) winning him a further two AFI's. Since then, Bruce has written the scores for over 40 films in Australia and the USA. The Melbourne Cup has been billed 'The Race That Stops a Nation', but never in the history of Australia's 150 year old Thoroughbred Classic has there been so dramatic a contest as the 2002 running. The Cup, directed by Simon Wincer, follows the world's finest horsemen as they plot their paths across the globe - from Europe, the Middle East and Asia - and into the Winners Circle of the richest and most prestigious two-mile handicap. But the heart of this true story is a young Australian jockey, Damien Oliver, who loses his only brother in a tragic racing accident just days before the great race. To make matters worse, the same fate claimed Damien and Jason Oliver's father decades before. Following his brother's death, Damien suffers through an almost endless series of discouraging defeats only to triumph on one of sport's greatest stages in one of the most thrilling finales in all of sport.

The Chuck Norris of Dog Toys
Color: Orange
If dog toys were superheroes, the Nevperish K9 Training Ball would be Batman—indestructible, effective, and always ready to save the day. This thing flies. I’m not saying I could take out a rogue squirrel in a single throw, but… let’s just say those little guys know to keep their distance now.
My 100lb German Shepherd, who we affectionately call "The Toy Terminator," has destroyed every squeaky, chewy, or bouncy thing in her path. But this? This glorious, rope-swinging masterpiece? She’s met her match. It’s like her teeth have signed a peace treaty with this toy.
Speaking of flying, if you have neighbors with a backyard that’s less than a football field away, be prepared for some fence-hopping cardio. I’ve had more awkward encounters with my neighbors than I care to admit. Thankfully, my shepherd has learned the art of the double hop—over their fence and back—like some four-legged ninja gymnast. Bonus: great entertainment for the neighbors.
This toy isn’t just a ball on a rope; it’s a lifestyle. Open fields? Perfect. Tug-of-war? Immaculate. Backyard fetch? A cinematic masterpiece. It’s basically the Swiss Army knife of dog toys, minus the danger of accidental stabbing.
Pro tip: Don’t underestimate how far this thing can go. My first throw ended with the ball in orbit—or maybe it just bounced off a satellite. Either way, my dog was thrilled, and now I need an arm warm-up routine before playtime.
So, if you want a toy that’ll outlast your dog’s dental fury and make fetch sessions the stuff of legend, this is it. 10/10, would absolutely get weird looks from neighbors again.

Colorful, Sturdy & Great Value
Color: Large Set of 4
Purchased for our two puppies when they were 2 months old and weighed about 14 pounds so theses balls were a little big for them to hold in their mouths but that didn't stop them from trying. While they did like these balls they much preferred softer soccer balls, the later of which did not hold up well at all. I had hoped they would play with these balls more when they were older but that hasn't happened 5 months later. I guess it's no fun if you can't tear the toy apart. Colors are very bright and they do enjoy chasing after them as long as I am the one rolling them across the room for them. Maybe when they progress to batting things with their paws they will start to do this for themselves.
