This book offers Christians of all backgrounds the opportunity to come together in a classroom setting or a bible study group to learn simple guidelines and lessons that will help them become more effective when relating and ministering to people from diverse backgrounds and unfamiliar cultures. The lessons in this course are also designed to help Christians identify myths, stereotypes, and belief systems that hinder unity and positive interactions in the Body of Christ. Christians from every denomination will not only develop an understanding of God's heart for missions and cross-cultural ministry, but they will gain insights for improving their relationships with all people in their local church. 

About the Author

Pascale L. Williams is a physical therapist, teacher, administrator, and licensed minister. Ms. Williams served as an adjunct faculty member and minority affairs counselor at S.U.N.Y Upstate Medical Center, where she advised, developed, and coordinated numerous programs and workshops on the subject of diversity and multicultural education for the College of Medicine, College of Graduate Studies, and the College of Health Professions. Ms. Williams currently works as a senior administrator and Bible teacher at the Abundant Life Christian Center in East Syracuse, New York. She is regularly asked to participate in dialogues and seminars regarding leadership, diversity, and Christian life. Ms. Williams resides in Jamesville, New York, with her husband, Glenn, and her two children, Marcus and Michaelle. She enjoys reading, walking, traveling, teaching, and kayaking.
