Care
General Maintenance: Repot in the summer once the plant has become rootbound. Prune to maintain it's small shape, but not too much that you remove all new growth.Temperature: Not generally picky on temperature but keep above 5ยฐC.
Light: Needs bright indirect light, with some full sun (at least 4-6 hours per day). A south facing window is best, but east or west windows will also work.
Watering: Keep consistently moist. Water thoroughly when the top 1-2 inches of soil is dry. Water less frequently in the winter. Never let the soil completely dry out. Provide some excess humidity during the dry winter (via a light misting or a pebble tray).
Soil: Fast-draining soil is preferred. Bonsai like their soil to be on the acidic side.
Fertilizer: Use a diluted liquid fertilizer once a month during the growing season (May - Aug). Do not fertilize directly after repotting, or during the winter.
