The Carl Zeiss Planar T 45mm f/2* for the Contax G system is an autofocus rangefinder lens based on the classic Planar optical formula, consisting of 6 elements in 4 groups. Designed for 35mm full-frame coverage, it delivers a standard field of view with high central resolution and controlled aberration behavior. The optical design emphasizes planar flatness and uniform sharpness across the image circle.
The lens incorporates Zeiss T multilayer coating*, applied to all air-to-glass surfaces to reduce internal reflections, improve light transmission, and maintain contrast under high-contrast lighting. The maximum aperture of f/2 provides a balance between light-gathering capability and optical consistency, while the 7-blade diaphragm contributes to smooth tonal transitions in out-of-focus areas.
Focusing is driven by the Contax G bodyβs internal AF motor, enabling precise electronic focus control with short focus throw. The lens features a minimum focusing distance of 0.5 m and uses a 46mm front filter thread. Compact construction and low mass make it well suited for balanced handling on Contax G cameras, maintaining optical performance within a small mechanical envelope.

Love these floating shelves!

Holes in brackets are not spaced for studs!

So the quality of this not great, but good enough and they look nice enough on the wall. However, the bracket holes are not spaced at 16" intervals. WTF? I'm not sure who designed this thing. The molly plugs that came with it look OK, but to play it safe I used a cobalt steel drill bit and made my own holes in the bracket. Easy enough with some wd40. My other pick with this is that the screws to anchor the shelf to the bracket are black and and very obvious... they should have supplied some kind of cap.

Great quality
Color: Rustic Brwon, Size: 16in
Hassle but they work great. I love the color, the thickness and quality. They do have some weight but in my opinion, I prefer that. Right now the four shelves are holding up my WiFi routers and remotes. Will buy again

Good quality shelves

These shelves are gorgeous in person. Yes, they're darker than the listing pics, but I actually prefer it. The grain is beautiful, they came well-packed, and mounting them was no trouble at all. Now I've got display space that feels both stylish and practical. Definitely worth it!
