The Assam Tea Press was dreamed up with the goal to make an innovation in tea drinking, and the Bodum tea-brewing system was born. Boil water while you place your preferred fine loose tea leaves in the stainless steel filter. Pour in the hot water and let steep 3 to 4 minutes or to your preferred taste. Press down the plunger, and the brewing process has stopped with the aroma locked in. No need to remove the filter - no mess - no burned fingers, only the true unforgettable and delicious taste of your preferred tea. The classic Assam tea pot with the new stainless steel filter comes in two different sizes: 3-Cups and 6-Cups of aromatic delight. The Bodum Assam Tea Press in borosilicate glass jug, glass handle, and steel infuser and lid. The clear glass makes the infusion visible at all times, making it a very attractive table piece. Everything can go in the dishwasher; the jug (without the filter, rod, and lid) can go in the microwave.
